Watersports center

Guests at Nana Royal can enjoy a wide range of exciting water sports activities, from flyboarding to windsurfing, providing fun and adventure for all skill levels.

Our watersports center, located on the resort’s beach next to the lifeguard tower, is staffed by fully licensed, multilingual professionals who ensure safe and thrilling experiences for beginners and experienced enthusiasts alike.

Complimentary for guests: 30 minutes per day, subject to availability

Scuba diving center

Welcome to Scubakreta, one of Crete’s longest-established dive centers. Since 1989, we have been introducing guests to the underwater world from our main dive center at Nana Golden Beach Resort, where we have built a reputation for professional instruction, safe diving, and unforgettable experiences.

As an SSI Dive Center, we welcome everyone, from complete beginners taking their first breaths underwater to experienced certified divers exploring Crete’s beautiful underwater landscapes.

The majority of our diving activities take place from our main dive center at Nana Golden Beach, located just a 10-minute complimentary shuttle transfer away.

Nana Golden Beach

• A private marina where our dive boat departs for certified diver excursions.
• A beautiful house reef directly accessible from the beach, perfect for beginner experiences, training dives, and certified divers.
• The sheltered waters of Hersonissos Bay, offering calmer sea conditions and a comfortable diving environment throughout the season.

Due to its location on Crete’s more exposed northern coastline, sea conditions at Nana Royal can vary. Whenever conditions allow, selected beginner activities may take place directly from Nana Royal. Our priority is always to provide the safest and highest-quality diving experience, which is why most programs are conducted from our Nana Golden Beach base.

If you are staying at Nana Royal, simply contact us to arrange your diving adventure. Our team may be welcoming guests at the Scubakreta information point or out at sea conducting diving programs. If you stop by and we are not there, we are currently diving with our guests.
